
Lowell began acting when she appeared in Dangerously Close. She then played a small part on the Robin Williams film Club Paradise. [4] Her roles included co-starring alongside Bond girl Pam Bouvier, in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989), and as the Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross, in 1996. She was also a part of Law & Order for two seasons. In 2005, she appeared in the same role as Jamie Ross on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. Then, in 2022, she reprised her role on the original show. Prior to landing this role she was dissatisfied with her acting career and decided to pursue a degree in documentary filmmaking at New York University. [4] In the mid-2000s Lowell was off acting. Lowell was able to lend Lowell her voice and appearance in 2012 as she reprised her Licence to Kill part in the video game 007 Legends. 2018 saw her return to television, where she appeared on Blue Bloods. [9][10] From 1989 to 1995, she was married to actor Griffin Dunne. She has a daughter, Hannah. [citation needed] Lowell married Richard Gere [11] in November 2002, following the birth of their child Homer James Jigme Gere was born in February 2000. After 11 years of marriage, the couple separated in September of 2013. The couple were involved in a contentious divorce proceeding before the New York Supreme Court for three years.
