Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. Her childhood was filled with big dreams. Her greatest roles are the spy action film Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol as well as the romantic drama Precious. The majority of her childhood was lived at Los Angeles where she came from a middle-class family. The mother of her children was fond of watching movies and encouraged a love of movies in her daughter as well. Paula loved participating in school co-curricular activities, and drama was her favorite. She loved acting in stage plays together with her fellow students. She performed in numerous productions at her high school Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as a career. She attended an acting program at the University of Southern California for a Summer Program and loved it. The program awarded her a 3-month contract making documentaries for PBS. When she finished her three-month task successfully Her first assignment was in the field of production for documentaries on television. Her next step was to start producing documentaries. While she was awed by her work, she yearned for acting roles. She launched her acting career with a small role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she has been in many films and TV series.
