Sheryl underwood is a stand-up comedian, television host, and performer from the US. She's most well-known for her role as The Talk's co-host on the daytime. Born in Arkansas She was raised at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from an extended family with numerous issues. Sheryl was a part of her youth helping her younger sister Frankie with polio. When she was a kid, her relations with her mother were not always smooth. Sheryl states that her mother once stabbed at her father for getting too close. Sheryl joined military after graduating from college. Her interest was in comedy. She became the first female finalist in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career in 1992, when she was a regular performer in the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. She hosted the television show Oh Drama! in 2000. In 2011, she's co-hosting the talk show. She's appeared in fictitious show such as Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
