Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian and television host popular as the presenter for The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. Born in Arkansas She was raised within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. She spent the majority of her childhood taking care of Frankie. Frankie suffered from the disease polio. As a child, her relationships with her mother were rocky. Sheryl alleges that, in an instance, her mother knifed her father when he became too intimate with her. Sheryl was a college graduate when she was drafted into the military. She was interested in comedy. She was the first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her TV career as a frequent performer at the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She hosted the television show Oh Drama! in 2000. In 2011, she's co-hosting the Talk Show. She has played in fictional show like Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
